Dr. Reilly's dental practice is devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in beautiful, long lasting smiles. We are able to provide our patients with the best of care in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Every dental treatment room provides our patients with a spectacular view setting, including a creek and some of God's wonderful creatures. We frequently have wildlife from the National Park, which is across the street, wander into our back yard.
We provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible. We, at Smiles of the Smokies, sincerely care about our patients' well being.
As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, completing oral cancer screenings, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your diet and medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health. An example would include diagnosing medication related xerostomia, commonly referred to as "dry mouth." We can help you deal with dry mouth and enhance your quality of life. After every cleaning, we send you home with a list of products to shop for that may help you with your home care.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). We stay up to date with the ever changing recommendations as viruses and bacteria evolve.
As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. To give you the best possible service and results, we are committed to continual education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession. Dr. Reilly goes above and beyond the required amount of hours to maintain her dental license every year.
Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how we can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience. We offer several things to help you relax during your treatment. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with excellent, personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. One of the things we offer to help you relax during your visit is Bose noise cancelling head phones. Pick your favorite Amazon music station and we will play the music for you! We also use the Isolite system to help you relax while we are working. Dr. Reilly is also known to coach you through anxious moments with yoga style breathing techniques!
Dr. Reilly is a general practitioner that has received additional training in implants, pediatric dentistry, soft tissue management, sleep apnea, Botox, and dermal fillers. She enjoys treating people of all ages. She encourages children to come visit as soon as their teeth touch. Dr. Reilly received additional training in administration of Botox and dermal fillers for TMJ syndrome and facial esthetics. This allows her to treat the entire smile and not just the teeth. She also enjoys completing full mouth reconstruction in patients that need removable or implant retained prostheses. Dr. Reilly is certified to place implants, as she completed the Alabama Implant Education residency.
